Dear colleagues

To invite and to welcome you to the fourth Slovenian AOVet course, but the first after 15 years, is an honour and a pleasure we all - the organizers, speakers and course chairmen – enjoy very much.
In two and a half days of concentrated work we will discuss the basic AO principles, their practical application and, last but not least, important topics of fracture assessment and peri-operative measurements. 
Lectures given by highly experienced surgeons will cover the most important topics of small animal fracture management. A high number of hands-on workshop exercises and stimulating small group case discussions will deepen the acquired knowledge and demonstrate the applicability of AO principles and implant systems. And finally a session will offer the possibility to discuss cases brought in by participants, a programme point usually highly appreciated in similar courses.
The meeting venue should additionally contribute to the course attractiveness: The Metropol Hotel in beautiful Portorož, a lovely town on the Slovenian Adriatic coast, will be a wonderful location to experience this most informative meeting.
