Davos Courses 2011: The Opening Ceremony

Norbert Haas extended a warm welcome to the participants and faculty. The Chairman of AOTrauma Education Commission, Kodi Kojima took the stage to highlight the aim of the courses in terms of education and networking. Soonafter, the Chairperson of AOTrauma International, Nikolaus Renner, shared his personal "AO experience". It was then time for old friends and acquaintances to catch up over some wine and light snacks; and for newcomers to feel at ease and make new contacts. |

AO Foundation kicks off the popular Davos Courses

Celebrating 50 years of the AO Foundation and the opening of the Davos courses at the new and expanded Davos Congress Center, President of AO Foundation Norbert Haas, along with Steve Schelkun, AOTrauma Education Commission Chairperson; and Prof Jörg A Auer, AOVET Education Commission Chairperson welcomed participants and faculty from 74 countries. The welcome address was followed by cocktails and informal networking. |
